Hi, hi! I'm DMP and I'd like to introduce myself. I like music, dancing, and DJ under the name Drvmcircle, which I selected for its delicious absurdity. The Música de Cumpleaños 2025 mixtape cover above is a picture of little DMP. Who would have predicted he'd have a complicated gender identity that would play out publicly, lol?

What DMP stands for depends on the context. For our purposes, let's say Dance Majick Priestess. But I like ALL music, not just dance music. For everyday listening, I've been making playlists on spotify for the last few years, but, I'd like to be more thoughtful about music consumption, so I'm launching a Patreon! I also dislike certain things, like the capitalist class and the direction they are taking the globe. For instance, this Elon Musk guy? I don't trust him as far as I can throw him! And that's not far given my fractured rib. Do I respect his ability to exploit technology for his own gain? More complicated. Anyway, my AI assistant, Ali, insists I should be on Instagram and Tik Tok to spread my love of music. So, you can find me there.

OK, I was a little misleading when I said I like music... I LOVE MUSIC. You like the Spotify playlists? You will love my record collection! Its been hard to outline a subscription service because I want to make a new mixtape or DJ live stream once a week. My passion exceeds a sustainable model.

If you join for $5-a-month you will get my new one-hour mixtape, Música de Cumpleaños 2025 immediately (spoiler: Sublime!). But in two weeks, and every month going forward, you will get a live stream/file of a new mixtape made from my record collection or digital files. Personal history: I'm a half-Mexican, part Native-American kid from Texas who had some smarts. For a number of years I worked in the art world which I found confusing. In order to be successful, you had to pretend you were rich and already successful, a tense contradiction. I later learned it was not just the art world. So in pitching this subscription, my societal impulse is to give the impression of cool indifference. Well, society can kick rocks. I can confidently state, sure, I'd really like your money, but this will be more than worth your money because I have exceptional taste in music and the archive/history to prove it!
